CDS Water Quality Structure Cleaning

(CDS) Water Quality Structure mechanical cleaningFor treating stormwater runoff, Continuous Deflective Separation (CDS) systems are structures placed on large storm drain lines to capture floatable trash/debris and sediment from a large drainage area.

Regular inspections and maintenance ensures manufacturer and local municipal compliance for storm water runoff.

The CDS hydrodynamic separator is a premier technology when it comes to treating stormwater runoff. This system uses stormwater flow rather than gravity and settlement to help drive the treatment process. Without the need of larger storage tanks, this means smaller unit sizes the site.

CDS is capable of separating suspended solids, hydrocarbons and trash from the stormwater runoff. With non-blocking screening technology the CDS will capture and remove 100% of neutrally buoyant and floatable debris 2400 microns or larger. An isolated sediment sump traps captured materials so they are not re-introduced during high flow events.
